This latest scheme focuses on creating a fully functioning workplace that supports team requirements, operational needs and future growth.

Designing a Turnkey Office Fit Out from CAT A

A key part of this project has been balancing headcount targets with the space needs of individual teams, alongside landlord service provisions.

Our in-house design team worked closely with the client and their wider professional team to understand how the business operates and how the space needs to function day-to-day. This approach allowed us to develop a design that supports efficient working, and practical use of space.

In-House Design and Building Services

One of the advantages of working with Verity Interiors is our ability to deliver both workplace and building services design in-house. For this project, our team completed the full design package, bringing everything together under one roof. This approach helps simplify coordination and supports a smoother design and delivery process, while keeping the client closely involved in key decisions.

Joinery and Furniture to Support a Functional Workspace

To achieve the required headcount while maintaining a high-quality environment, we specified a balanced mix of bespoke joinery and furniture, working in partnership with IPJ. This allowed us to make the most of the available space while still delivering a bright, modern and practical workplace that supports both people and performance.

Flexible Design and Build Delivery

Verity Interiors operates across both traditional and Design & Build procurement routes. We can deliver projects on a full Design & Build basis or through Stage 4 Detailed Design, depending on what best suits the client and the project.

After the success and adventure of Rally 2024 to Croatia we have again fired up the ‘Legend’, our 259,000 mile 1996 L400 V8 Lexus to take on this years Rally. 7 countries in 4 days.

The team this year has expanded to 4 to share the driving, drinking and laughs. Starting again from their fabulous ground on Goldington Road, through France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and arriving in Malmo, Sweden some 1200 miles later.

The Team this year is made up of James Bowden from Verity Interiors Ltd, Ed Franklin from Absolute Casings, John Thorpe from Thorpes Group & Darren Sargison from Fleur de Lys. These 4 intrepid soles are delighted to again support the Blues Foundation and the work is does to support those children in the community through the values of rugby, to promote positive and informed lifestyle choices.

We’re delighted to share that Verity Interiors has been appointed by Legal & General as their delivery partner for the CAT A refurbishment of Levels 3 and 4 at Goldsworth Place, Woking.

The scope includes a primary plant upgrade and integration works, part of the final phase of the wider refurbishment.

Our team has worked closely with the Client and Professional Team during the tender and pre-construction stages to ensure the project stays on budget, runs smoothly for existing tenants without impacting their daily operations, and meets a BREEAM Excellent standard.

We’re excited to be working alongside L&G, Core 5, tp bennett, Hoare Lea and Symmetrys Structural and Civil Engineers to complete the final phase of the refurbishment of Goldsworth Place.

The items donated include three large cabinets, two medium-sized ones, 20 small pedestals, and two white and blue shelving units, all delivered free of charge to help kit out the hospice’s new office space.

James Bowden, Director at Verity Interiors, said:
“Project DIVERT supports our commitment to sustainability while also helping local communities. It’s great to see so many items from this refurbishment put to good use. Lewis-Manning Hospice can now put their money into the services that really matter, rather than buying new furniture.”

The environmental impact of this project is worth noting too. By rehoming these items rather than sending them to landfill, around 750kg of waste was diverted and 250kg of CO2 emissions avoided.

There were financial savings too. Verity Interiors cut down their disposal costs by around 14%, and Lewis-Manning saved an estimated £3,600, which is the approximate second-hand value of the items they received.

Rachel Rowley, Managing Director at Encore Environment, added:

“When you build circular economy thinking into projects like this, you turn unwanted items into a real opportunity. Charities benefit, businesses reduce waste, and more resources go towards frontline services instead of landfill fees.”

Project DIVERT is a great example of how simple changes in how we think about waste can have a big impact, for people and the planet.

With just one week to go, we are thrilled to announce that Verity Interiors, alongside Absolute Casing and Nomad are participating in the 2024 Blues Banger Rally! Competing under the name Team Hobo (Homeless and Vagrant, for 4 days at least), driving a 250,000-mile Lexus LS400 V8 4.0L on an epic journey from Bedford Rugby Club to Porec, Croatia.

Our adventure begins on July 3rd 2024 and spans four days, covering 11 countries. Along the way, we will visit some incredible places, including the viewing platform at Zugspitze in Germany, the Grobglockner Alpine High Road, and the ‘crazy tourist’ toboggan run in Lienz, Austria. These stops promise not only stunning landscapes but also unique experiences that highlight the beauty and diversity of Europe.

However, this rally is about much more than the thrill of the journey. We are proud to share that we have already raised an incredible £8,000 for this exceptional charity, which supports young people in and around Bedfordshire. The Blues Foundation, the charitable arm of Bedford Blues Rugby Club, reaches 3,500 children per year through rugby programs and targeted interventions for disengaged youth. The funds raised from the rally will help continue this important work, transforming lives through the power of sport and physical activity.

As a final fundraising push, we are offering sponsored stickers on our car for £500 a pair (one for each side ????). Photos of the stickers will be posted from the start line next Wednesday, July 3rd! • Grobglockner Alpine High Road: One of the most famous mountain roads in Austria, known for its scenic beauty and challenging drive.
• Toboggan Run in Lienz, Austria: A thrilling and fun tourist attraction that promises excitement and unforgettable memories.
